Rucksack - Skysper 15L Backpack
One important item we use daily when travelling is a rucksack / backpack / bag. It's important to get a strong bag with enough room to carry all of your essentials throughout the day whilst remaining comfortable.
Some must have features:
-
-
- Strong
- Secure
- Comfortable
- Waterproof
- Room for all items

Our trip to London this weekend will be our first using this backpack, I will provide a review once we return.
Travel Pillows
His and hers travel pillows 🙂
Since purchasing these we've only used them a couple of times.
I believe the seats on most low cost airlines are pretty straight upright. The position makes it difficult for any travel pillow to be comfortable. I'm looking forward to our next long haul flight when we can test them out properly. So far I'm impressed with the quality. They fold up nicely into a small carry bag which clips onto our hand luggage and the memory foam makes them a soft comfortable travel pillow.
Anti Theft small shoulder sling bag.
I've had this bag for over 6 months now and have taken it away with me several times. It's small, compact and lightweight. It's well made and perfect for when you have a small amount of items to carry.
I've used this as my hand luggage when travelling light and only needed enough room for essential items like passports, wallet and phone etc.
There is a secure pocket on the back with a zip which I find very useful when out and about, I keep the bank cards I use the most in this pocket for extra security, you can access to this pocket more easily than opening up the main compartment.
After using this bag for some time I realise if we are doing a lot in a single day, travelling, hiking, walking and when we generally require more items then it's just not quite big enough. Hence the purchase of the Skysper 15l backpack above.
I will however still be taking this away and be using it when needed.
Selfie stick - C&F Selfie stick
I'm not myself if I don't have my selfie stick in easy reach.
I've had several selfie sticks over the years. Being 6ft I find the average selfie stick length a bit short to get a picture without capturing my arm sticking in the picture. I find some of the longer sticks tend to lack the strength to hold a mobile phone when fully extended.
I've just purchased the C&F concept selfie stick and will be taking this to London this weekend so will give this a full review upon my return.
Before I purchased this I was very tempted to purchase the ASHINER 180cm selfie stick again but decided to go with the C&F as I liked the look of the stick.
I purchased the Ashiner 180cm selfie stick over 14 months and have been impressed with it. I recently used to much pressure trying to rotate my phone whilst attached to the stick and it snapped the end off.
This was entirely my own fault but I have gone with the C&F hoping this will be a little stronger.
Action Camera
My next purchase is going to be a new action camera. Following our decision to document our travels it will mean a lot more photos and videos being taken during the days and my phone already suffers from a short battery life due to the usage it gets. With this in mind I've made the decision to get a new camera.
Following hours & hours of reviews of action camera's my decision was the
DJI Action 5 Pro - Adventure combo
It was not an easy decision and I looked at many other camera's.
The following camera's made it to the short list when I mas making the decision.
