Budget airlines baggage nightmare
On this page we do not cover all airlines, instead we focus on low cost airlines flying from the UK to destinations within Europe. The same rules I'm sure can be applied to most budget airlines around the world. You should always check your airlines website for the latest luggage allowance as they constantly change.

The rules for luggage allowance on airlines are forever changing. Nearly all low cost airlines don't like the fact most people will take hand luggage over expensive "checked in" option.
Budget airlines are evolving and most will not allow you to take hand luggage unless you pay for it. With the "Free" hand luggage option no longer available what are your options?
Unless your willing to pay extra for hand luggage or checked luggage you're now limited to a single "small under seat bag".
There are some other airlines flying in and around Europe that still include the cabin baggage and do not charge you extra. These include, BA, Lufthansa, Jet 2.

So how do I get round the free allowance problem?
There is no way around the problem unless you travel with one of the airlines that include cabin baggage as hand luggage.
As more airlines are changing their stance and starting to charge for hand luggage all you can do is change your luggage so you can fit as many items as possible into your allowed luggage.
